Kenneth Gale Hicks, 88, of Festus died July 19, 2019, at de Greeff Hospice House in south St. Louis County. Mr. Hicks was a retired warehouse manager for Brown Shoe Co. and was a member of Radiant Life Church in Festus for 18 years. Born May 13, 1931, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Lorene (Myatt) and Clarence Hicks.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years: Lee Hicks of Festus, and their blended family of six children: Donna (Gene) Hilton of Kansas City, Richard Hicks of St. Louis, Diana Cain of St. Louis, Kyle Kohne of St. Louis, Cindra (Scott) Wright of St. Louis and the late Kenneth William Hicks. He is also survived by nine grandchildren: Matt, Todd, Leslie, Kayley, Ashley, Michael, Amanda, Alyssa and Alex; and six great-grandchildren.
Mr. Hicks chose to donate his body to the Washington University School of Medicine. A memorial service is scheduled from 5-7 p.m. Friday, July 26, at Radiant Life Church, 11533 Gamel Cemetery Road, in Festus, officiated by Pastor Randy Gray. Memorials may be made to Radiant Life Church.
