Pace, Kenneth

Kenneth Eugene Pace, 78, of Bonne Terre died June 21, 2020, at St. Joe Manor in Bonne Terre. Mr. Pace was a Vietnam War-era veteran of the U.S. Army. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, going fishing and camping and watching game shows, and devoted time daily for prayer. Born June 19, 1942 in Festus, he was the son of the late William Jackson and Valerine Gertrude (Boyer) Pace.  

He is survived by his wife: Dorothy “Paula” (Pratt) Pace; seven children: John (Denita Towers) Pace, Chris (Jenny) Pace, Charles (Robyn) Pace, Deborah Pace, Peter (Beth) Pace, Mary (Albert) Cooley and Theresa (Nathan Uhls) Pace; 11 grandchildren: Anne (Scott) Schibbelhut, Joseph (Alley) Pace, Jacob (Joy) Pace, Lucy Pace, Alexis Pace, Madison Peck, Cameron Henry, Chase Henry, Cali Cooley, Sofia Cooley and Piper French; three great-grandchildren: Brailyn Schibbelhut, Kinlie Pace and Harper Pace; a sister: Jackie Thebeau; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. 

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter: Madelyn Pace.

Visitation is scheduled from 5-9 p.m. Friday, June 26, at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 27, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bonne Terre, officiated by the Rev. Stephen F. Bauer. Burial is in St. Francois Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home.
