Kenneth Edwin Alexander, 65, of Festus died Nov. 13, 2018, at his home. Mr. Alexander worked for many years at Festus Manor Nursing Center. Born April 30, 1953, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Hattie Cecelia (McCoy) and George Edwin Alexander.
He is survived by a son: Weldon Joseph Abrams of St. Louis; a grandson: Marcelus Alexander Abrams; four sisters: Diana Burdell, Debbie (Charles) Humphries, Rachel Cook and Annette Alexander, all of Festus; three brothers: Chester (Melissa) Alexander, Gary (Sandra) Alexander and Todd (Joline) Alexander, all of Festus; and numerous family members.
A memorial gathering will be held from 1-3 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus, followed immediately by a memorial service officiated by the Rev. Mary S. Thomas. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
