Keith Anthony DeClue, 69, of Festus died June 15, 2021, at St. Joseph Manor in Bonne Terre. Mr. DeClue was a U.S. Army Veteran and retired after a 40-year career as a paramedic with the Joachim-Plattin Ambulance District. He was a member of Good News Community Church in Festus, American Legion Post 253 and Elks Lodge 1721. Born July 4, 1951, in Bonne Terre, he was the son of the late Lucille B. (Coleman) and Malcolm DeClue.
He is survived by his wife: Linda Darlene (Miller) DeClue; two daughters: Tonia Sue (John) Dement and Olivia Irene DeClue, both of Festus; a son: Chad Nathan (Ann) DeClue of Bonne Terre; a sister: Rhonda Martin of Festus; six grandchildren: Roman Dement, Kristen (Andrea) Stevens, Peyton DeClue, Hayden Harman, Layla Harman and Abella DeClue, and a great-granddaughter: Persephone Suhre.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Greg DeClue; and a grandson: Oliver Samuel DeClue.
A funeral service was held June 20 at Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus. Burial was in the Adams Hillcrest Cemetery in St. Francois County. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Backstoppers. Arrangements were under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
