Kayleb Gregory Briggs, 8, of Cedar Hill died Oct. 31, 2017, at SSM Health St. Clare Hospital in Fenton. Kayleb was a member of Boy Scout Troop 406. He enjoyed his four-wheeler, his radio-controlled cars, playing with toy cars and trucks and entertaining others. He was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Hillsboro and Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in House Springs. Born Sept. 8, 2009, in St. Louis, he was the son of Kristina (Alexander) and Gregory Briggs of Cedar Hill.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister: Taylor Briggs of Cedar Hill; his grandparents: David Briggs, Marietta Secrest and Marian Alexander of Hillsboro; his great-grandmothers: Marion Melenbrink of Eureka and Elberta Briggs; five uncles: Matthew (Samantha) Lockett, Phillip Lockett, Bobby Briggs, Chris Conrad of Crystal City and Eddie (Stacy) Briggs; and two aunts: Bailey Alexander of Hillsboro and Trisha (Kevin) Maddox.
Visitation is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. and a funeral service at noon Saturday, Nov. 11, at the Hillsboro Community Civic Center, 10345 Business 21, in Hillsboro. Burial is in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus.
