Kathy Woodard, 70, of Herculaneum died Feb. 6, 2018, at her home. Ms. Woodard had worked as a registered nurse with Mineral Area Hospital and Washington County Home Health Care. She attended Our Lady Church in Festus. Born Dec. 6, 1947, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Cecilia “Marguerite” (Sullivan) and George D. Dunn.
She is survived by a son: USMC Master Sgt. Gregory (Wendy) Woodard of Camp Lejeune, N.C.; a son-in-law: David Schell of Festus; three brothers: Michael (Rosie) Dunn of Mountain Home, Ark., Timothy (the late Carey Beth) Dunn of Foristell and Thomas Dunn of St. Charles; three sisters: Theresa (the late Jerry) Warren of Herculaneum, Rose Ann (the late Ken) Gehner of Camden and Margaret (Tim) Keith of Ste. Genevieve; three grandchildren: Cody and Derek Woodard of North Carolina and Dawson Schell of Festus; two nieces: Michelle (Tod) Donaldson and Shiela (Dave) Frimml; one nephew: Brian Warren; and several special great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter: Kristine Schell; and an infant sister: Mary Marguerite Dunn.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Arrangements were under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
