Kathleen Hoffmann (Haukap) Wilbert, 83, of Barnhart died Dec. 22, 2017, in Eureka. Mrs. Wilbert was the longtime owner/operator of Hoffmann Pastry Shop in Otto. She was born March 9, 1934, in St. Louis, the daughter of the late William Alexander and Veronica (Bacher) Haukap. She was preceded in death by two husbands: Adam Hoffmann and Art Wilbert.

She is survived by two sons: Ron (Maita) Hoffmann of House Springs and Don (Lisa) Hoffmann of Festus; two daughters: Lorraine (the late Tony) Tienes of House Springs and Elizabeth (Stephanie Holtman) Link of High Ridge; her friends and caregivers at St. Andrews at Francis Place; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 28, at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in St. Louis County. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 29, at St. John’s Catholic Church in imperial, officiated by Father Mike Murphy. Burial will be held at a later date at the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Memorials may be made to a food pantry of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home.
