Katherine Rachelle Autumn “Katie” Knox, 22, of De Soto died July 22, 2017, in Jefferson County. Ms. Knox graduated from Brown Mackie College with an associate degree and was a veterinary technician. She worked at Coyals in De Soto and enjoyed fishing, animals and four-wheeling. Born July 8, 1995, in Poplar Bluff, she was the daughter of Norman Conrad of Potosi and the late Rachelle (Clark) Conrad
In addition to her father, she is survived by a son: Dylan Noel Sample of De Soto; a sister: Jamie (Joseph) Plezia of Pennsylvania; her grandparents: Noel and Karen Knox of De Soto and Barbara Busch of Marysville, Kan.; three aunts: Mona Doshi of Denver, Colo., Annie (Joe) Werner of Axtell, Kan., and Jennifer (Troy) Alderfer of Denver; four uncles: Sharif (Marissa) Adbelhamid of Denver, Steven (Nicole) Knox of Thayer, James (Michelle) Knox of Pacific and Lester Knox of De Soto; numerous cousins; and her
beloved pets: Panda Bear and Avril.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers: Steven Busch and Nabil Adbelhamid.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, at Mahn Funeral Home, 900 N. Main, in De Soto. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 26, at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Bob Thebeau. Burial is in the Peaceful Ridge Cemetery in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home.
