June E. Vance, 74, of De Soto died Jan. 4, 2018, in De Soto. Mrs. Vance was a homemaker. Born Sept. 10, 1943, in Festus, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Laverne (Cross) Aders. She was preceded in death by her husband: Charles Vance.
She is survived by two children: Rick (Jane) Vance of Festus and Scott (Tammy Bandy) Vance of De Soto; two siblings: Connie Aders Perkins of De Soto and Darrell (Deena) Aders of St. Charles; seven grandchildren: Ashley, Dakota, Kassidy, Chris, Nathan, Dylan and Katie; and one great-granddaughter: Calista.
She was preceded in death by a daughter: Angela Vance; a son: David Vance; and a brother: Daniel Aders.
Visitation is at 10 a.m. and a funeral service is scheduled for noon at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main, in De Soto, with the Rev. Randy Casey officiating. Memorials may be made to Mercy Hospice, 5 Industrial Drive, Festus, 63028. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
