Judy A. Higdon, 60, of Park Hills died Dec. 16, 2020, at Kindred Hospital at St. Anthony’s in St. Louis County. Ms. Higdon was a homemaker. Born Dec. 11, 1960, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of Arlene Florence (Hindrichs) Arndt of Bonne Terre and the late Allen Bernard Arndt. She was preceded in death by her dear friend, Terry Jones.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by two children: Shawn (Denise) Higdon of Farmington and Joe (Danielle) Higdon Jr. of Burlison, Tenn.; a son-in-law: Shannon Pittman of Ripley, Tenn.; four siblings: Donna (Windell Ward) Compton of French Village, Allen (Alberta) Arndt of Salem, Robert (Monica) Arndt of Covington, Tenn., and David (Laura) Arndt of Valles Mines; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a daughter: Chasity Pittman
Visitation is scheduled at noon followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 26, at
Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto. Burial is in the Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
