Judith Susan Zumwalt, 73, of Barnhart died Nov. 9, 2021, in Barnhart. Mrs. Zumwalt was born March 28, 1948, in St. Louis, the daughter of the late Dale and Sophia Ottie (Withouse) Pierce. She was preceded in death by her husband: Earl F. Zumwalt.
She is survived by two daughters: Lisa Floyd of Hillsboro and Laura (Brad) Rifner of Lincoln, Ill.; two stepsons: Fred (Karen) Zumwalt of High Ridge and Christopher (Tina) Zumwalt of Camby, Ind.; five siblings: Melba Gabbert of Lonedell, Mary (Mike Tucci) Bockskopf of Imperial, Ronald Pierce of House Springs, Glen “Rick” (Angela) Pierce of Farmington and Kenneth (Evelyn) Brakefield of Pevely; a sister-in-law: Jill Pierce; 10 grandchildren; and many other family members.
She was preceded in death by a brother: Dale Pierce; a son-in-law: Kevin Floyd; and a sister-in-law: Brenda Chasten.
A memorial service will take place at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
