Judith Diane Coleman, 73, of Hillsboro died Oct. 20, 2022, in Crystal City. Ms. Coleman will be remembered as fiercely protective, caring, sassy and quick-witted. She opened her heart and home to anyone in need. Born May 26, 1949, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Jerome L. and Edna M. (DeGeare) Heibel.
She is survived by a son: Gary W. (Beth) Coleman of St. Peters; two daughters: Teresa (Danny) Jones of Festus and Tammy Maret of DeSoto; three brothers: Larry (Pat) Heibel of Festus, Chuck (Elaine) Heibel of Perryville and Joe (Yvonne) Heibel of Fredericktown; three sisters: Mary (Tuck) DeRousse of Stoutsville, Jeri (Clyde) Hoover of Bloomsdale and Robin (Mike) Gant of Festus; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and many other family members.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: Jerome (the late Joyce) Heibel and Michael Heibel; and two sisters: Barbara (the late Gene) Casper and Sandra Langman.
A celebration of life will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, at the Knights of Columbus, 9330 Hwy. 21, in Hillsboro. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus.
