Juanita V. Cole, 91, of Imperial died Oct. 5, 2019, in Imperial. Mrs. Cole was the owner of Star Lumber Co. Born Dec. 8, 1927, in Mineral Point, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Vivian Franklin. She was preceded in death by her husband: Claude Cole.
She is survived by a son: Greg (Diane) Cole of Hillsboro; two daughters: Janet (David) Schaub of Imperial and Cathy (David) Theiss of Hillsboro; 10 grandchildren: Jennifer (Brent) Davis of Pullman, Wash., Andrew Schaub of Creve Coeur, Heather (Shawn) Struckhoff of Pevely, Jason (Lori) Tosie of Arnold, Kenny Tosie of Arnold, Corey Cole of south St. Louis County, Kelly (Enrique) Flores of Arnold, Jillian (Grant) Bissell of Hillsboro, Eric (Ashley) Theiss of Webster Groves and Megan (Tommy) Parkin of Thornton, Colo.; a brother: Dale (Janet) Franklin of Potosi; two sisters: Ruth (Leonard) Compton and Pat Graves, both of Potosi; and a number of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a sister: Judy Gilliam; and a brother: James Franklin.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, at Kutis Funeral home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in south St. Louis County. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 11, at the funeral home, officiated by the Rev. Leonard Compton. Burial is in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home.
