Juanita Marie Thebeau, 85, of Hillsboro died Nov. 24, 2016, at Hillcrest Care Center in De Soto. Mrs. Thebeau was a homemaker. Born June 16, 1931, in De Soto, she was the daughter of the late Ernest L. and Virdie “Marie” (Patterson) Huskey. She was preceded in death by her husband: Homer Edward Thebeau.
She is survived by six children: Dale (Marilyn) Thebeau of Hillsboro, Steve Thebeau of St. Charles, Gary (Laura Young) Thebeau of De Soto, Tim (Brenda) Thebeau of Lake Ozark, Brenda (Mike) Horton of Cadet and Dawn (Rusty) Hedger of Logan, Iowa; five siblings: Genevieve (Ollie) Schoults of Hematite, Nellie (Herbert) Caldwell of Festus, Alice (John) Robertson of Casper, Wyo., Lilburn (Mary Lou) Huskey of De Soto and James (Pam) Huskey of Billings, Mont.; one brother-in-law: Floyd Thebeau of De Soto; 18 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one sister: Hazel I. Thebeau; and one brother: Donald Huskey.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30, at the funeral home, officiated by the Rev. Ron Follmer. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
