Joseph S. Nahlik, 80, of Arnold died Feb. 10, 2019, in St. Louis. Mr. Nahlik was retired from Inner Camus Transportation at St. Anthony’s Medical Center (now Mercy Hospital South) in St. Louis County. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Arnold. Born March 18, 1938, in High Ridge, he was the son of the late Joseph and Loretta (Klahs) Nahlik.
He is survived by his wife: Betty (Buchheit) Nahlik; a son: Joseph (Brenda) Nahlik; three daughters: Brenda (Carlos) Arriaga, Marie (Kevin) Utt and Betty Jo (Joseph) Potter; two brothers: Larry and Victor Nahlik; seven sisters: Mary Lou Kopp, Fran Zagorski, Julie Buchheit, Barb Buchheit, Audrey Jo Wild, Jean McGregor and Rose Mary Sandmeier; and 10 grandchildren: Joshua Utt, Katelyn Potter, Andrea Utt, Ezekiel Arriaga, Nicholas Potter, Thomas Arriaga, Victoria Arriaga, Andy Nahlik, Joey Nahlik and Rachel Nahlik.
He was preceded in death by a sister: Anna Rose Winkelman; and two brothers: Val Nahlik and Vincent Nahlik.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, at Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in south St. Louis County. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15, at Immaculate Conception Church in Arnold. Burial is in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Immaculate Conception Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home.
