Joseph M. Ryder, 56, of Arnold died Feb. 21, 2020. Mr. Ryder was a former firefighter and EMT. Born March 16, 1963, he was the son of Virginia Ryder of Havana, Ill., and the late Roy Ryder.
He is survived by his wife: Sandra (Benson) Ryder of Arnold; two sons: Benjamin and Joshua Ryder of Arnold; two sisters: Jeannie Ryder of St. Louis and Julie (Doug) Richardson of Havana, Ill.; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother: James Ryder.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 29, at Unity of St. Louis – South, 3701 Bayless Ave., St. Louis County. Memorials may be made to Stray Rescue of St. Louis. Arrangements are under the direction of Fey Funeral Home in south St. Louis County.
