Johnny “Ray” Eskridge, 70, of Barnhart died Dec. 10, 2018. Mr. Eskridge worked as a supply clerk for General Motors in Wentzville until he retired. He was a member of UAW Union Local 25 and proudly served and retired from the U.S Air Force. Born Sept. 5, 1948, in Selmer, Tenn., he was the son of the late Johnny and Christine (Wilson) Eskridge.
He is survived by his wife: Shirley J. (Goodon) Eskridge; one son: Jonathan R. Eskridge of Barnhart; three grandchildren: Ryan, Gracie and Hailey Eskridge; four siblings: Larry Eskridge of St. Louis, Kathy Eskridge of De Soto, Glenda Smith of De Soto and Dennis Eskridge of Union.
He was preceded in death by one brother: Charles Eskridge.
Funeral services will be private. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home.
