John Thomas “Tom” Carlisle, 75, of Festus died Oct. 1, 2018, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mr. Carlisle was a retired salesman for Noritsu of America Corp. Born Aug. 21, 1943, in Springfield, Ill., he was the son of the late Lorraine (Gore) and Jack Carlisle.
He is survived by his wife: Susie (Bunting) Carlisle; two sons: Jeffrey Carlisle of Herculaneum and Clifford (Sharon) Campbell of Festus; a daughter: Gailynn S. Campbell of Manchester; a sister: Lori Carlisle of Ozark; two grandsons: Matthew Carlisle and Tony (Jennifer) Watkins; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a grandson: Cole Campbell.
A memorial service was held Oct. 5 at First Christian Church-Disciples of Christ in Festus, officiated by Pastor Lari Grubbs. Memorials may be made to First Christian Church-Disciples of Christ. Arrangements were under the direction of the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
