John S. Williams, 62, of Herculaneum died Dec. 29, 2016, at Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur. Mr. Williams was a retired supervisor with Dow Chemical in Pevely. Born July 4, 1954, in St. Louis, he was the son of Leroy Williams of Herculaneum and the late Dixie (Allen) Williams.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife: Helen (Partney) Williams; two daughters: Tracy (Chip) Svejkosky of Festus and Mindy (Danny Rancilio) Stout of Herculanuem; two sons: Matt (fiance Mallory Leitner) Stout of Festus and Josh Williams of North Carolina; one granddaughter: Harlow Svejkosky; a sister: Marsha Helms of Herculaneum; a brother-in-law: John Partney Jr. of Cadet; three sisters-in-law: Nora (Cutter) Rodgers of Potosi, Mary (Phil) Schwengels of Oklahoma and Theresa (Justin) Morris of Kansas City; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held Jan. 2 at Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus, officiated by the Rev. Terry Crank. Arrangements were under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
