John Joseph D’Angelo, 60, of Festus
John Joseph D’Angelo, 60, of Festus died June 12, 2022, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mr. D’Angelo worked for Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District before retiring. He loved food and was a good cook. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandsons. Born Oct. 21, 1961, he was the son of the late Charlie and Rosemarie D’Angelo.
He is survived by three daughters: Tina D’Angelo of Barnhart and Teresa and Annie D’Angelo, both of Festus; two grandsons: Colt and Gabe Bridges, both of Barnhart; and a brother: Joe D’Angelo of Festus.
He was preceded in death by two brothers: Charlie and Michael D’Angelo.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, June 16, at the Jay B. Smith Maplewood Chapel, 7456 Manchester Road. A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 17, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 2934 Marshall Ave., in Maplewood, followed by a service at the Resurrection Cemetery in St. Louis County. Arrangements are under the direction of Jay B. Smith Funeral Home.
