John Gerald Verdot, 83, of Festus died Sept. 20, 2020. Mr. Verdot was retired. Born June 22, 1937, in Camp, Ark., he was the son of the late John and Bertha Verdot. He is survived by his wife: Billie (Vaughn) Verdot.
He is survived by a son: Jerry Verdot of St. Louis; three daughters: Bonnie (Dusty) Barnes of Fenton, Lana (Clif) Cornish, Karla (Tim) Wessels; six grandchildren: Blake, Casey and Zack Barnes, Andrew Cornish, Suzanne Galatoire and Hannah Wessels; 10 great-grandchildren; a brother: Jack Verdot; and a sister: Jean Lou.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until the funeral services at 7 p.m. Thursday (Sept. 24) at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in south St. Louis County. Memorials may be made to Seasons Hospice. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis South County Chapel.
