John G. Seidl, 79, of De Soto died April 29, 2017, at Georgian Gardens in Potosi. Mr. Seidl was an equipment installer for Western Electric, AT&T and Lucent Technology. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Born Jan. 24, 1938, in Escanaba, Mich., he was the son of the late John W. and Nettie (Dean) Seidl.
He is survived by his wife: Lela Joy (Johnson) Seidl of De Soto; three children: Christine Rowe of Festus, Katherine (Terry) Bentley of Belleville, Mich., and Steve (Polly) Seidl of Farmington; three sisters; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Arrangements were under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
