Joe David Tucker, 64, of House Springs died May 25, 2019, in Fenton, surrounded by his family and listening to The Rolling Stones. Mr. Tucker loved the outdoors, whether it was floating his favorite smallmouth stream, competing in a bass tournament or sitting in a deer stand in northern Missouri. A member of the Pipefitters Local 562 Union since 1979, he retired in 2014, and then enjoyed traveling with his wife, fishing with his grandkids, planting in his garden and hosting legendary barbecue/pool parties. Born Dec. 13, 1954, he was the son of the late David Nolan and Mollie Lee Tucker.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years: Yvonne M. (Pfeil) Tucker; three children: Matt (Karen) Tucker of House Springs, Dan (Becky) Tucker of House Springs and Laura (Bob) Weber of Cedar Hill; six grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Hannah, Gavin, Ava, Trenton and Audrey; two sisters: Linda Reid of Cedar Hill and Sandy Boyd of House Springs; and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Ricky; and a brother-in-law: Rick Reid.
A private celebration of life will be held June 2. Memorials may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. Arrangements are under the direction of Bell Funeral Home in Pacific.
