Joan Lee Mason, 84, of De Soto died Aug. 5, 2018, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mrs. Mason was a homemaker. Born March 23, 1934, in Belleville, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Clarence H. and Elsie (Wuertz) Dabbs.
She is survived by her husband: Keith W. Mason of De Soto; a daughter: Linda (Joe) Bean of De Soto; two sons: Brian (Kathi) Mason of Barnhart and Michael (Stacey) Mason of Garnett, Kan.; and several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by three sisters: Helen Murray, Ruth Goodall and Margaret Besaw.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements were under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
