Jerry C. Cheatham Sr., 77, of Bonne Terre died Jan. 13, 2022, at Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur. Mr. Cheatham served in the U.S. Army and worked for 38 years as leadman at Western Litho in Valley Park. Born March 16, 1944, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Dolly (Dunn) and Harold Cheatham.
He is survived by his wife: Euretta (Tanner) Cheatham of Bonne Terre; two children: Richard Brian Cheatham of Bonne Terre and Amanda (Morgan) Cheatham-Strange of Park Hills; a brother: Bill Cheatham of Farmington; and 13 grandchildren: Tylor, Emiley, Justyn, Calista, Kaylee, Aubrey, Jaxon, Waylon, Tanner, Whitney, Hunter, Liam and Asher.
He was preceded in death by a son: Jerry Cheatham Jr.
A funeral service was held Jan. 16 at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto. Arrangements were under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
