Jason Scott Skiles, 40, of Hillsboro died April 19, 2022, in St. Louis County. Mr. Skiles was a laborer and a Christian. He loved spending time with his family. He also was a foodie, and he enjoyed being outdoors, boating, restoring muscle cars and listening to music. Born March 26, 1982, in St. Louis, he was the son of Barbara (Skiles) Simpson of Fenton and Robert Quick of High Ridge.
He is survived by his fiancee: Stephanie Moore of Hillsboro; two children: Alisha Madison Skiles and Noah William Steiner (Skiles); his fiancee’s four children: Noah, Silas, Lucas and Emma Moore; five siblings: Steven (Kayla) Simpson and Zach, Sarah, Justin and Matt Quick; his stepmother: Anne Quick; one niece: Penelope Simpson; three aunts: Donna (Tom) Palasky, Tammy (Tim) Kaiser and Joni (Mike) Jacobsen; six cousins: Leigha (Ryan) Gaston, Joshua (Ashley) Kaiser, Sarah, Luke and Noah Jacobsen, Miranda (Steven) Dudley; five second cousins: Roslynn Dudley, Claire Gaston, Emma, Evan, and Everett Kaiser; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by two cousins: Matthew and Michael Calloway.
A celebration of life and benefit for a trust fund for his two children will be held May 21 at the Wedge Tavern in Lemay. A benefit car cruise for the trust fund will be held June 18. Memorials may be made to a trust fund set up for Alisha and Noah Skiles. Arrangements are under the direction of St. Louis Crematorium.
