Jannette Elizabeth Bequette, 78, of De Soto died June 10, 2022, at Hillcrest Care Center in De Soto. Ms. Bequette was a homemaker and a member of the De Soto Lion’s Club. Born July 31, 1943, in De Soto, she was the daughter of the late Catherine (Washburn) and Alfred “Bubbles” Kyle. She was preceded in death by her husband: Theodore Leroy “Red” Bequette.
She is survived by two children: Michelle (Eric) Fjone of Festus and Shane (Terriel) Bequette of De Soto; two siblings: Linda (David) DeRousse of Oak Ridge and Annette (Walter) Hunt of De Soto; and five grandchildren: Taylor, Caleb, Eric “E.J.”, Mia and June. She was preceded in death by an infant son.
Visitation is scheduled from 5 p.m. until a funeral service at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto, officiated by Father Alexander Anderson. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
