Janet M. Dyle, 79, of De Soto died Aug. 20, 2021, at The Woodlands in Arnold. Ms. Dyle was a homemaker. Born Oct. 1, 1941, in De Soto, she was the daughter of the late Everett and Nellie (Judy) Hawkins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Pete Dyle.
She is survived by three children: David Higgins of Washington state, Rob (Sherry) Higgins of Fenton and Jamie Higgins of Mineral Point; and five grandchildren: Erica, J.J., Stephanie, Josh and Amanda Higgins.
She was preceded in death by a brother: Harold (Ruth) Hawkins; and a sister: Marcella Byron.
Visitation will be from noon until a funeral service at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 25, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main, in De Soto, officiated by Pastor Derek Jones. Burial is in the Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto. Arrangements were under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
