James Warren Dierks, 66, of Arnold died April 4, 2019, in St. Louis. Mr. Dierks was retired from United Van Lines and was an award-winning canna gardener. Born Sept. 1, 1952, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Warren Dierks and Bernice (Schlecht) Dierks.
He is survived by five nieces and nephews: Philip, Sarah and Matthew Kauzlarich and Jason and Adam Arnold; three great-nieces and great-nephews: Charlotte, Nathan and Mable Kauzlarich; one brother: Gary Dierks of Imperial; two sisters: Judith Kauzlarich of Imperial and Belinda (Kevin) Arnold of Imperial; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Private funeral services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to St. John Catholic Church, 4614 Blue Springs Road, in Imperial. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis South County Chapel.
