James Lee Prosser, 56, of Jefferson County died May 22, 2019, at his home. Mr. Prosser was a union sheet metal worker and was licensed in heating, cooling and HVAC. He was a member of the Pentecostal faith. Born March 23, 1963, in St. Louis, he was the son of Bertha (Moeser) Gregory of Arnold and the late William Prosser Sr.
He is survived by two children: Jeanette Sutton and Hali (Adam) Carver; four siblings: William (Pam) Prosser of Barnhart, Jeffrey Prosser of Villa Ridge, Cynthia (Mark) Argent of Festus and David (Emily) Prosser of Crystal City; five grandchildren: Cole Freeman, Jaydah Freeman, Ella Sutton, Patyn Carver and Chase Carver, all of Bonne Terre; longtime friends Matt (Theresa) Barker of De Soto and Wally Doughten of Hayti; and a number of aunts and uncles, great-aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a grandson: Maverick Lee Freeman; his former wife: Michelle (Freeman) Prosser.
