James Glenn Engeman, 42, Gilmer, Texas

James Glenn Engeman, 42, of Gilmer, Texas, died Jan. 23, 2022, in Gilmer, Texas. Mr. Engeman drove a tow truck and enjoyed carpentry work, as well as hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. Born June 3, 1979, in Chetwynd, British Columbia, he was the son of Robert Baughman, Steve (Debra) Engeman and Sandra Noble and was raised by Steve Engeman and Sandra Noble.

He also is survived by two daughters: Whisper and Raven Engeman; a sister: Elizabeth Garcia; two stepbrothers: Colonel and Timothy Swiney; three aunts: Rita Mendenhall, Susan McIntire and Barbara Newman; two uncles: Jerome “Jerry” Murray and William Engeman; and many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by two sisters: Gwendolyn and Stephanie Engeman; and his grandparents.

A memorial will be held later under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater, Texas.
