Jacquelyne “Jackie” Hancock, 54, of Eureka, died April 12, 2017. Mrs. Hancock loved to fish, hunt, and go four wheeling and was a great southern home cook. Born Oct. 29, 1962, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of John Steibel and the late Imogene “Nana” (Schaedler) Stiebel.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband: Gary “Ronnie” Hancock; three children: Jodie (Keith) Labee of Imperial, Donald (Holly) Engle of south Saint Louis County and Heather (Joshua) Logsden of Hillsboro; three grandchildren: Faith, Brody and Madison; six siblings: Janet (Edward) Donohue of Festus, John (Tracy) Stiebel of De Soto, Jeneice Stiebel of Comanche, Iowa, Jim (Stephanie) Stiebel of Festus, Timothy (Amy) Stiebel of St. Louis and Michael (Jessica) Stiebel of St. Louis; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Monday, April 17, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 18, at the funeral home. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 18, at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Cedar Hill. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
