Jacqueline M. Garner, 77, of Herculaneum died June 27, 2022, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mrs. Garner worked for more than 20 years as general manager for the Shoe Warehouse Outlet in Festus. She was a member of the Louisiana Purchase Chapter of the D.A.R. and an active member of Gracelife Chapel in De Soto. Born July 16, 1944, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Norma (Lewis) Jarvis.
She is survived by her husband: James Garner of Herculaneum; three children: Dawn (Clarence) Warner of Pevely, Kelly (Jeff) Stelling of Imperial and Amy (Ron) Oshia of Hillsboro; three siblings: Fay (the late Everett) Griffith of Hillsboro, David (Barbara) Jarvis of Hematite and Larry Jarvis of Simi Valley, Calif.; seven grandchildren: Amber (Jake) Buehler, Brooke (Tim) Shores, Elizabeth Warner, Christian Stelling, Cole Stelling, Veronica (Braden) Clark and Kali Oshia; and eight great-grandchildren: Jenna Buehler, Leigha Buehler, Kane Beuhler, Aubree Shores, Maya Shores, Malachi Shores, Xavier Clark and Kailer Clark, with another on the way.
Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. until a funeral service at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 2, at the Gracelife Chapel, De Soto Campus, 1000 N. Main St., in De Soto, officiated by Ron John. Burial is in the Hematite Christian Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Camp Penuel, PO Box 367, Ironton, 63650. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
