Jacqueline Lee Greer, 84, of Festus died Sept. 27, 2020, at St. Joe Manor in Bonne Terre. Mrs. Greer had worked as a physical therapist at Festus Manor Nursing Center in Festus. She was born Feb. 24, 1936, in Crystal City, the daughter of the late Naomi Leona (Gurlin) and John Edward “Cotton” Bennett. She was preceded in death earlier this year by her husband: Edward Leroy “Ed” Greer.
She is survived by her two sons: Ronald (Joyce) Greer of Warrenton and Steven (Cindy) Greer of De Soto; four daughters: Christine (Michael) Thompson of Festus, Jo-Ann (the late Terry) Mattison of Foristell, Barbara (Clay) Kappler of Festus and Connie (John) Streckfuss of Bonne Terre; 14 grandchildren: Takara Dingley, Danielle Solomon, Scott Thompson, Jonathan Mattison, Jessica Donze, Cory Dickens, Kathryn Brandt, Zachary Kappler, Tyler Self, Allison Self, Audrey Goodwin, Trenton Greer, Morgan Greer and Megan Greer; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services and burial were private. Arrangements were under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
