Irene Virginia (Mueller) Witkowski, 93, of Barnhart died Jan. 17, 2020, at her home. Mrs. Witkowski was born May 31, 1926, in St. Louis, the daughter of the late John and Agnes (Thebeau) Mueller. She was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Following her marriage, she and her husband moved to California, returning in the mid-1980s. She was preceded in death by her husband: John R. Witowski.
She is survived by a niece: Linda (Gary) Yagge of Barnhart; a nephew: Dale (Linda) Geimer of High Ridge; and a great-nephew: Kevin (Lana) Geimer of Cedar Hill.
Mrs. Witkowski chose to be cremated. Arrangements were under the direction of Robert D. Brown Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
