Ina Jean Dickinson, 91, of De Soto died June 16, 2019, at Baisch Nursing Center in De Soto. Mrs. Dickinson worked at the De Soto Shoe Factory. Born March 12, 1928, in Washington County, she was the daughter of the late Jefferson Riley and Bessie (Martin) Brakefield.
She was preceded in death by two husbands: Lee Pyle Jr. and Paul Dickinson.
She is survived by two children: Kenneth (Glenda) Pyle Sr. of Arnold and Shirley (David) Kite of De Soto; six stepchildren: Debi (Michael) Roussian of Peoria, Ill., Betty (Matt) Eddings of Bonne Terre, Joyce Vega of Parrish, Fla., Kenneth (Tillie) Dickinson of De Soto, Steve (Sharon) Dickinson of De Soto and Rick (Jenny) Dickinson of McKinney, Texas; a sister: Geneva “Billie” Russell of De Soto; four grandchildren: Tanya (Bryan) Goff of Imperial, Kenneth (Mandy) Pyle Jr. of Barnhart, Linda (Michael) Barnes of De Soto and Cheryl (Joe) Boyer of De Soto; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by an infant son; a stepdaughter: Angie Stone; six sisters: June (George) Russell, Hazel (Ira) Moses, Gladine (Quentin) Schmidt, Jane (Lloyd) Belew, Malona (Norvel) Spiedel, Marple (Alfred) McKee and infant Zelda Marie Brakefield; two brothers: Howard (Ethyl) Brakefield and Leonard (Blanche) Brakefield; a brother-in-law: Floyd Russell; and a great-granddaughter: Emma Rose Boyer.
Visitation is at 11 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto, officiated by Pastor Steve Flo. Burial is in the Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
