Henry L. "Bud" Van Horn, 85, of Barnhart died June 1, 2021. Mr. Van Horn loved baseball and being outdoors. He was born Sept. 19, 1935, in Bunney, Ark., the son of the late Alonzo and Mattie (Turner) Van Horn. He was preceded in death by his wife: Carolyn Sue Van Horn.
He is survived by special friends Dan and David Horridge; two brothers: James (Vergie) Van Horn and Lonnie Van Horn; and several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.\
He was preceded in death by two sons: Anthony "Tony" Van Horn and Mark Van Horn; and seven siblings: Bearl Van Horn, Vearl Van Horn, Hubert Van Horn, Syble Wells, Viola Bazzill, Bessie Jones and Lou Ann Van Horn.
Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. until a funeral service at noon Saturday, June 12, at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold. Burial is in the Herculaneum Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home.
