Heather N. (Barrale) Baker, 30, of Kirkwood died Oct. 27. Mrs. Baker volunteered with SOS “serving on the streets” serving the homeless. She loved crafts, music, St. Louis Blues Hockey, traveling and spending time with her family and her dog, Shadow. Born May 12, 1990, in Daytona Beach, Fla., she was the daughter of Denise (Edward Jr.) Kraus of De Soto and John M. Barrale of New Athens, Ill.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband: Michael J. Baker; two siblings: Edward (Sasha) Kraus III of De Soto and Jessica (Jordan) Prestidge of Hillsboro; six nieces and nephews: Mason and Maxton, Nolan and Emma and Alexis and Nathaniel; three grandparents: Don (the late Carol) Mirth of St. Charles and Eddie and Carole Kraus Sr. of Imperial; her father-in-law: Steven (the late Susan) Baker of Arnold; and a brother-in-law: Christopher Penning of Fort Worth, Texas.
Visitation is scheduled from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3, at Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in south St. Louis County. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, at the funeral home. Burial is in the Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home.
