Harry Harmon Tripp, 91, Festus

Harry Harmon Tripp, 91, of Festus died March 19, 2019, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mr. Tripp was a retired shift leader at Dow Chemical in Pevely and a World War II veteran of the Army Air Corps. Born May 14, 1927, in Millcreek, he was the son of Edith (Tripp) and John Dollinger. He was preceded in death by his wife: Ann Louise (Dennis) Tripp.

He is survived by a son: Steve Tripp of Festus; three daughters: Tana (J.T.) Mulvaney of Festus, Tammy (Doug) Inman of Festus and Tracey Winkler of Crystal City; five grandchildren: Tara (Pat) Travers, Jason Inman, Sam (Taylor) Tripp, Dan (Emily) Tripp and Jennifer (Todd) Garnatz; five great-grandchildren: Kaleb Morgan, Tyler Morgan, Ellie Tripp, Ben Tripp and Addie Tripp; and a brother-in-law: Eddie (Sylvia) Dennis.

He was preceded in death by a brother: Melvin (the late Rose) Tripp; and a son-in-law: William “Corky” Winkler Jr.

Visitation is scheduled from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, March 24, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 25, at the funeral home. Burial is in the Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
