Harry Douglas “Bird” Lee III, 63, of Flowood, Miss., formerly of Morse Mill, died Jan. 11, 2022, at his home. Mr. Lee grew up in Morse Mill and attended Jefferson College. He worked at the Firestone in Clinton for several years, then at the Harley Davidson in Jackson for more than 20 years. His passion was motorcycles, and he was always willing to lend a hand to those in need. Born Nov. 25, 1958, in Alamogordo, N.M., he was the son of Alice Lee Zanagro and the late Harry Douglas Lee Jr.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife: Sam (Susan) Lee of Flowood, Miss; five children: Halvetia (Caleb) Colony, Harry Douglas Lee IV, Anna Lee, Trent Osborn and Trey Osborn; two grandchildren: Gwendolynn Colony and Ezekiel Colony; and three siblings: Robert (Alice) Lee, JoAnn (Bill) Dunn and John (Melissa) Lee.
He was preceded in death by a sister: Judith Lee Cook.
Private graveside services will be held in the Church of God Faith of Abraham Cemetery in Morse Mill. Arrangements were under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
