Harlan Jesse Weiss, 67, of Festus died Feb. 12, 2018, at Hillcrest Nursing Center in De Soto. Mr. Weiss worked in general maintenance. Born Oct. 17, 1950, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Peggy J. (Horn) and Harold Linn Weiss.
He is survived by his wife: Cecilia (Williams) Weiss of Festus; a daughter: Jeanie Weiss of Festus; two stepsons: Dennis (Christy) Hoffman of Festus and Ronald Curtis of Festus; a sister: Cheryl (Clarence) Dallas of Bonne Terre; a granddaughter: Alyssa Hoffman; one niece: Melodi; one great-nephew: Travis; close friend Franklin Vinyard,who was by his side when he passed; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Russell Weiss.
Funeral services and burial were private. Arrangements were under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus.
