Gregg M. Mattingly, 38, of Ballwin died March 10, 2015, at his residence. Mr. Mattingly was a computer software engineer at Neteffect in St. Charles. He was a Christian and loved all music, especially playing his drums, guitar and keyboard. He was born May 29, 1976, in Trenton, the son of Jim M. and Diane L. (Hotop) Mattingly of Arnold.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Billie J. (Utnage) Mattingly, whom he married on Aug. 8, 2012; a daughter: Nevaeh Mattingly of Ballwin; two stepdaughters: Elizabeth Utnage and Malayna Cox, both of Festus; a sister: Nicole Mattingly of Napa, Calif.; and a brother: Justin Mattingly of south St. Louis.
Funeral Mass was held March 14 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sereno, officiated by the Rev. Milton Ryan. Burial was in the Mt. Hope Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Nevaeh Mattingly, c/o Jim and Diane Mattingly. Arrangements were under the direction of Young & Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.
