Grace M. Kasal, 83, of Imperial died June 3, 2019, in Barnhart. Mrs. Kasal worked in the accounting department of the U.S. Postal Service. Born Oct. 11, 1935, in New York City, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Hellen (Adams) and Joseph Crolius. She was preceded in death by her husband: Frank J. Kasal.
She is survived by three sons: Stephen Kasal of Valley Park, Frank (Patricia) Kasal of St. Louis and Kenneth (Kimberly) Kasal of Arnold; four daughters: Jeanne (Fred) Hogenkamp of O’Fallon, Debra (Patrick) Cullen of Imperial, Ellen (Kevin) Bristol of Byrnes Mill and Marie (Dennis) Davis of Barnhart; 18 grandchildren: Christina (Dave), Michael (Leslie), Amy (Ryan), Austin, Adam, Patrick (Pamela), Meagan (Mark), Nicole (Pete), Jennifer (Kelsey), Frank (Dajana), Kenneth II, Kaitlyn, Kyle, Alicia (James), Kevin (Kristina), Jamie (Aaron), Brandon (Katelyn) and Mari-Grace; and 19 great-grandchildren: Jackson, Amelia Grace, Michael Jr., Owen, Brogan, Josie Rose, Kaidon, Madelyn, Makenna, Jameson, Keegan, Noah, Thomas, Kaleb, Grace, Kaidin, Andrew, Sawyer and Mackenzie.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter: Molly.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, June 9, at Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd., in south St. Louis County. Funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday, June 10, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 6020 Old Imperial Road, in Imperial. Burial will be in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Memorials may be made to C.H.A.M.P.S. Therapy Dogs. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home.
