Gina Renee Carney, 57, of Festus died July 22, 2021, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mrs. Carney was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Herculaneum. Born April 6, 1964, in Bonne Terre, she was the daughter of Tony (Linda) Sigala of Arnold and the late Judith (Marshall) Sigala.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband: Tim Carney; a daughter: Crystal (James) Laiben of Barbourville, Ky.; a brother: Robert Sigala of De Soto; a half-sister: Brenda Priddy of Mustang, Okla.; four grandchildren: Dylan Laiben, Oliver Laiben, Karolyn Laiben and Samuel Laiben; two nephews: Bradley (Jesi) Priddy and Jonathan Priddy; and a great-neice: Riley Rae Priddy.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 28 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1000 McNutt School Road, Herculaneum, from 9 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m., officiated by Pablo Zubeldia. Burial will be at Herculaneum Cemetery in Herculaneum. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Homes.
