George Morgan Gross, 94, Crystal City died Oct. 19, 2022, in Desloge. Mr. Gross was a self-employed food chemist and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Born July 2, 1928, in Whitewater, he was the son of the late Winifred (Proffer) and Roy Gross.
He is survived by his wife: JoAnn Deles; five children: Roy Gross of St. Louis County, Glenn Gross and Janet Winterbauer, both of Plano, Texas, Susanne Waller of Fayetteville, Ark., and George “Doug” Gross of Hermann; and numerous family members and friends.
Visitation will be at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24, at Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in south St. Louis County. Graveside service will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25, at the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks.
