George “Beau” Reinarman Sr., 75, died March 16, 2023. Mr. Reinarman was a teacher at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic School for 25 years until his retirement in 2005. He graduated with summa cum laude honors and was on the dean’s list from Harris-Stowe State College in 1981. He was a member of the Carondelet Sunday Morning Athletic Club, the Missouri State High School Activities Association. He volunteered with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources’ Parks Department, was a campground host for nine years, a Catholic Youth Council coach for multiple sports and a football and basketball official. He was the son of the late Dorothy (Hunter) and Harold Reinarman.
He is survived by his wife: Elinor Marie (Lowry) Reinarman; three children: George L. (Russ) Reinarman Jr., Deborah M. (Steve) Boelling and Jacqueline A. (Kyle) Neeley; eight grandchildren: Bradley, Bailey, Matthew, Anthony, Andrew, Nathan, Cameron and Austin; and two siblings: Eleanor May and Roy Reinarman.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, at John L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Home, 4830 Lemay Ferry Road, in south St. Louis County. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 22, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 5020 Rhodes Ave., St. Louis. Arrangements are under the direction of John L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Home.
