Geneva M. (Hagler) Thornton, 95, of Holden, formerly of House Springs, died July 27, 2013, at Holden Manor Care. Mrs. Thornton was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Dell Thornton.
Funeral services were held Aug. 1 at Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill. Burial was in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4215 Lindell, St. Louis, 63108. Arrangements were under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
