Gary Lee Power, 65, of Pevely died Dec. 8, 2015, at St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis County. Mr. Power was a registered nurse specializing in psychiatric nursing, and worked at several hospitals in the St. Louis area. Born Oct. 23, 1950, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Gustav and Virginia (Richter) Power.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years: Ruth (Luczak) Power of Pevely; brothers-in law and sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; and his “baby dogs” Annie and Tia.
A memorial gathering is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. and funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 21, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Imperial. Memorials may be made in the form of Masses or to the Humane Society of Missouri.
