Gary Dennis Drennen, 73, De Soto

Gary Dennis Drennen, 73, of De Soto died March 29, 2021, in De Soto. Mr. Drennen was a tire technician at Sam’s Club and a U.S. Army veteran. Born May 4, 1947, in Fletcher, he was the son of the late Austin Henry and Bessie Irene (Rogers) Drennen.

He is survived by his wife: Jerri Ann (Deling) Drennen of De Soto; four children: Joshua (Erin Arvizu) Deling of Arnold, Nathan (Dani) Drennen of Colorado Springs, Colo., Rebecca (James) Colville of Festus and Hanna (Ken Victory) Drennen of Hillsboro; three grandchildren: Emma, Anthony and Liam; and one grandchild on the way.

He was preceded in death by six siblings: Lois Latham, Glenda Bell, Ervin Drennen, Dave Drennen, Lewis Drennen and Hubert Drennen.

Services are private, officiated by the Rev. Gene Smith. Burial will be in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
