Freddie Lee “Fred” Sellers, 83, of Barnhart died June 7, 2016. Mr. Sellers was a welder. He was born Aug. 26, 1932, in Goodland, the son of the late James Nathan and Grace (Gladeen) Sellers.
He is survived by his wife: Norma Jean (McClanahan) Sellers; six children: Nancy Lee DeVore, Rick (Alice) Sellers, Barbara (Rick) Hittler, Tom (Jeanne) Sellers, Craig (Launa) Sellers and Kevin (Roxanne) Sellers; 10 siblings: Earl Sellers, Ina Guethle, Ray (Dianne) Sellers, JoAnn (Dick) Hoffman, Linda (Rick) Freeman, Leonard (Sharon) Sellers, Larry Sellers, Gary (Frances) Sellers and Darla (Dave) Schnauel and Rhonda Sellers; 21 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a son: Robert “Bob” Sellers; and a sibling: Ula Dickson.
Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, at Fey Funeral Home, 4100 Lemay Ferry Road, in St. Louis County. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 10, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. Arrangements are under the direction of Fey Funeral Home.
